Why is my 580K not moving forward or reverse?

My 580 Super K had been running great as I was trying to finish my pond before autumn rains and winter snows made it impossible. As I was approaching a pile of dirt to get a bucket load, it just stopped. No forward, no reverse. No unusual noises. Engine running fine, hydraulics working fine.

I have noticed that when the machine is cold it works fine in forward and reverse, for a short time then slowly gets to the point that it no longer will move at all in forward and barely moves in reverse. I am stumped to this point and would very much appreciate any expert advice on what this could be and how to repair it.
