Why does my OBDII cigar lighter not work?
I noticed that my primary cigar lighter is listed as “Cigar lighter/OBDII” in the Owners Manual. I proceeded to check the lighter and it doesn’t work. I then pulled the fuse box cover and checked the fuse and it’s good. Even replaced it with a known good fuse, but still no power to the Cigar lighter or the OBDII port.

Is there no power at the OBDII port?
Even replaced it with a known good fuse, but still no power to the Cigar lighter or the OBDII port. I just did a quick test with my multi-meter and I do have power on one side of the blade fuse socket, but nothing at the OBDII port or at the lighter. Has anyone run across this before?
Is the CIG lighter or SCT power less?
The SCT is totally power-less – no sign of any life on the screen, and the Cig lighter is also power-less. Unfortunately I don’t have a factory schematic for the truck, so I can’t look at that circuit to determine if there’s some other device inline.

Why is the OBD2 port on my F150 not working?
OBD2 port not working… I’ve searched through out and have found that the cig fuse is the same fuse for this. Cig lighter works but obd2 still doesnt. Chked the fuse and owners manual calls for a 20A fuse and has a 15a installed (not sure why this is).
