Why does my car make a clunk when turning?
Why does my car make a clunk when turning?
It mostly happens when turning in motion but once in a while when parked. Clunk/click sound usually only occurs once, or in a short series of 2-3 times, during turning. Video of this clunk/click while parked: Noise is almost silent at the strut mount/bearing, so I suspect it’s lower in the assembly.
Why does my Ford F-150 make a clunking noise when I start it?
Many drivers say their F-150 makes a loud “clunking” noise when starting the engine. Others have described the transmission as “slipping,” “jerky,” or “rough.” How Can a Lawsuit Help? A class action lawsuit could pay back drivers for money they spent on repairs and make Ford fix the problem.

Why do I hear a clunk when I renew my timing belt?
If they’re still functioning properly when the struts are renewed they could be well on their way to failing before the new struts will wear out. This is the same reasoning that causes folks to replace water pumps, pulleys, etcetera, when renewing a timing belt or replacing valve stems with new tires.
Why does my car make a clunk when I lubed it?
When the get re-lubed and the noise is gone shoots lots of holes in my theory. Something that may be happening is that daily driving the slip yoke will only move a small amount. Over time the grease will wear away in that small area. The grease would be pushed forward and essentially start to build up.
Why does my Ford F-150 make a clunking sound?
The transmission shifts very hard in the first 5 gears of the 10 speed transmission. It is hit or miss on whether or not it does it, but it does raise a concern on how it jerks, especially when my daughter things I am braking hard, but it is really just the transmission. Clunking sound when going from park to reverse, hesitation changing gears.

Why is my 2018 Ford F-150 stalling?

The contact stated while driving 25 mph, the vehicle unintendedly downshifted and stalled while depressing the accelerator pedal.
