Why are the high beams on my Jeep not working?
Why are the high beams on my Jeep not working?
Just discovered that both high beams are not working. Regular lights ok. When switch to high beam both go off. I know some bulbs have two filaments, is this the case for this car?
Why are there no low beams on my liberty?
The low beam relay could be the cause of having no low beams and it is located in the JB Junction block. Apparently there is a fuse that receives consistent power as well in power distribution center. The relay can be tested, referring to the factory service manual.
Where are the low beam fuses on a Jeep Liberty?
Check fuse & relay first. Low beam fuses are inside fuse panel left kick panel, position #4 and #5 -10 Amp Red Headlight One for left & one for right headlight. Try a new relay and see if that works first. Disconnect battery ground and isolate it before removing the relay.
Is there a problem with the Headlight high beam?
You could remove the headlight and then check the voltage at the high beam terminal when high beam is selected. If it has 12VDC then it’s a headlight bulb problem. If not…it’s a problem with the headlight high beam control.

Why is the head light switch out on my Jeep Wrangler?
I suspect the latter only because both high beams are out. Once you check the voltage like missileman says, try to back track the wiring to see where the voltage break is. This can be a PITA. The headlight switch is a common problem on Wranglers, but very easy to replace. The high beam switch is not too bad to replace.
Why does the dome light stay on while driving a jeep?
When you rotate the wheel switch over the detent, all lights come on, but this single forward bulb on the driver side remains on, when lights are switched off again. I’ve opened and closed each door several times, but as mentioned, not all the lights are on, it’s just this single spurious light.
