Why is the actuator on my Chevy Impala still clicking?
2009 Chevy Impala actuator still clicking after replacing. As the title says the actuator is STILL clicking after replacing it twice. I’ve replaced both actuators behind the passenger dash an after the initial replacement after a couple days the clicking came back.
Where is the hot / cold blend actuator on an Impala?
The hot/cold blend door actuator is above the right side of the hump, exactly opposite the one on the driver’s side. The recirc actuator is behind the right side of the glove box. These 3 (2 hot/colds and 1 recirc) are all the same part number.
Why is my Blend door actuator making a clicking noise?
My blend door actuator was making that clicking noise. I bought a new one from oreilly auto parts and installed it and immediately it started making the same clicking noise. Its like I never even changed it. I know its the actuator making the noise I can put my fingers on it and feel it. Anyone ever had this problem?

As Intrepid said, there are 2. In my case I replaced the one that was clicking and it’s still clicking. The other one is not clicking. Replaced one from the local parts store. Worked for 4 days then went bad again. They got me a new one, going to install today. Hope it lasts longer this time. Replaced one from the local parts store.

Why is my Blend door actuator not working?
You could walk by it and you’ll hear it clicking, BUT the moment you open the door any door it will quit. When you start the car it will go off for about 15 seconds then stop. I have noticed that the radio will sometimes be on upon returning to the vehicle after coming out of the store. I suspect the door jamb switch or a bad ground.

It still clicks. It will start clicking when the car is off even. You could walk by it and you’ll hear it clicking, BUT the moment you open the door any door it will quit. When you start the car it will go off for about 15 seconds then stop.
