STEP 1: Install the cylinder head gasket. A new gasket must be used, never re-use an old gasket. NOTE: For 5.9L street head we recommend Mahle 54556A or Cummins 3958645. For 6.7L street head we recommend Mahle 54774 or Cummins 4932210 STEP 2: Place the cylinder head on the block, properly seat it into the dowels.
