In almost all cases it is recommended that you stick to the factory-size for your car or truck’s tires. This is because many components of the vehicle were specifically designed for that specific size of tire. This mainly has to do with the diameter of your tires.

If you decide to replace one or two of the tires, the best choice is to replace them with the exact same brand, style, and size that are already on the vehicle. If this is possible, the dimensions, internal construction, materials, and tread design will be nearly identical to the tires you are replacing.

Why did I change the rear tyres on my Bev?

The last two sets of rears I’ve changed because they were badly cracked around the shoulder and between the tread, the tyres on an i3 is obviously a very weak link. I thought the BEV had the same tyres all round, maybe the wheels have been changed at some stage.
