Is there a problem with the boot release on a StreetKa?
The boot release solenoid has failed,Its happeend on just about every streetka I have worked on. its in the o/s rear panel hidden behind some stuck down felt type material. I have the same problem on my girlfriends StreetKa, I have located the motor under the cheap stuck on piece of carpet lol!
Is the electric button not working on my Ford Street Ka?
Hope that helps someone. Electric button not working issue on my Ford Street KA (early/mid 2000s). Is it possible to bypass having to use the electric button for the roof compartment lid by removing the lock and just open by hand and not effect the mechanics of how the roof folds down?
Where is the solenoid assembly on a StreetKa?
This is in the centre of the car, inside the roof well, directly behind the interior light. The solenoid assembly is held by two 10mm nuts, the two operating arms need to be unclipped and two electrical connectors unplugged. The plastic pivot for the microswitch arm had broken off, and the arm was resting underneath.
