Where are the transfer case relays on a 2002 F250?
Near the master cylinder area you should find auxiliary relay box 3 which has the 2 shift relays for the transfer case motor. make sure pins 86 and pins 87 have power to them on both relays. check for a good ground on both pin 87a. Let me know your results.

The electric shift t-case is controlled by the GEM on your truck, using feedback from a position switch on the t-case shift motor. The motor gets power thru the relays, but your prior problem of getting into 4H but not 4L points away from that being the problem, at least initially.

I am having troubles with getting my shift on the fly to work properly. engage. I have power to the solinoid, and there is some vaccum, but i am not sure what the specs are for vaccum and voltage. Can someone help me on this. need to have vaccum inorder for the wheels to engage? Might help to give us the year of your truck.
