How often should you change the oil on a trailblazer?

22 people found this helpful. I have a 2006 trailblazer with 301000 miles on it. Replaced the transmission at 265000 miles , I put all the miles on it . Mostly country roads and highway, had oil changes done every 3000 miles . I am using synthetic oil now for about 150000 miles.
