The MyFord screen will go a bit wonky, trying to show different kinds of text on top of each other. Opening the passenger side door will turn off the radio. But opening just the driver door allows the radio to stay on, apparently indefinitely (my wife reported realizing it had been playing for an hour after she went into the house this weekend).

What to do when your car radio won’t turn off?
Sounds like you have a door ajar switch bad. spray some PB BLASTER lube available at parts store on the driver door latch assembley soak the latch assembley really good then open and close door 10 to 15 times and see if radio goes off. You can’t post conmments that contain an email address.
