I ordered one and it arrived today which supposedly works on a 73-79 302 engine. However, when I try to mount it on the passenger side, there is a big gap between the timing chain cover and the hole at the bottom of the pointer. It looks like it will mount great on the driver’s side but it blocked by the bottom of the water pump.
