Why is my Dozer not releasing the clutch?

The dozer pulls hard with the levers forward and, with the proper adjustment, only pivots to the left. With the right lever pulled, the track disengages but wont pivot right, thats why I was wondering about the setup, the right track seems to lock up with the brake or the clutch isn’t releasing.

HelloCustomerand welcome to JA. Sounds to me like the right steer clutch is not engaging. The steer clutches work in conjuction with the brake. When you pull on the lever, you are cutting off fluid to the clutch allowing it to slip, and in turn, allowing the LH clutch to pull you around.

Where are the clutch seals in a dozer?

If you follow the linkage under the floor board you will see it goes into a control valve, this valve allows fluid presure to each of the clutches, they are located inside the brake housing. Most often the seals in the clutches are the problem.
