Why are the headlights on my Ford Fusion not working?
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. While driving approximately 40 mph, the headlights failed to illuminate properly causing the contact to use the high beams to drive. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired.
Is there a fuse for the high beam headlamp?
No fuse aside from the BCM mega fuse, which would affect more than just one headlamp, fuse 74 is the high beam, but for both sides, The power to the headlamps is controlled by the BCM. Sounds like either the bulbs or the wiring to the right lamp. The BCM does split the circuits to either headlamp, so it is possible there’s a fault there as well.
Where can I get a Ford Fusion headlamp replaced?
The contact stated there was condensation in the headlamp. The vehicle was taken to westfield Ford (6200 south la grange road, countryside, IL 60525, (708) 354-8600) where the contact was informed that the headlamp housing needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred.
Why are both low and high beam headlights not working?
If both low and high beam not working only common thing to both is the ground wire….see diagram…verify by connecting circuit tester from positive battery terminal to ground wire in the plug once disconnected from the headlight bulb on that side….you could check yourself by checking the ground wire on the other working headlight. Any luck yet?

What to do if your headlights are not working?
If you go to an ‘Auto Zone’ or similar they will usually scan your car for DTC’s (fault codes) as a free service. DO NOT LET THEM “CLEAR” THE CODES WHEN THEY READ THEM. Write down the codes and post them here, we may be able to get you closer to knowing the problem. Tried searching the forums but couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.

See all problems of the 2017 Ford Fusion . The insurance institute for highway safety has rated “marginal” the headlight effectiveness for the 2016 Ford Fusion. I think Ford should replace the headlights which is a safety issue and an expensive proposition. The contact owns a 2008 Ford Fusion.

This 2012 Ford Fusion came in with the complaint that the driver’s side low beam headlight id not work. The customer stated that she had the bulb changed a few days earlier but it has failed again. The area is a little confined but the headlamp assembly does not need to be removed in order to perform this repair.
