Why are my Lincoln LS cooling fans always running?
I noticed that my 2004 Lincoln LS cooling fans are running allot when the car gets to normal operating tiemp. The gage doesn’t move once it gets to temperature. It starys right in the middle. The cooling fans have started to run for no reason. It seems all the time, on the highway or in town they are always running.
Why is my 2002 LS radiator fan always running?
My 2002 LS radiator fan is always running and very loud. Does not matter if the engine is hot or cold. To me, it sounds like a fan speed control is stuck in high speed mode. The engine temp sensor appears to be working ok because the temp gauge is working properly and the engine is not over heating.
What to do if your cooling fan won’t stop running?
The fan will discharge the battery quickly if left running. Open the hood and locate the fuse relay box on the driver’s fenderwell. Remove the lid. Look on the inside of the lid and for the mapping of the fuses and relays with their location. Pull the cooling fan relay out of the box. Replace the cooling fan relay with a new one.

The cooling fans have started to run for no reason. It seems all the time, on the highway or in town they are always running. This is a new development. I haven’t had any A/C service or power steering service done.
