I was wondering if anybody knew when ford stop putting the gas tank behind the seat ?I have a ford f-100 1970 and the tank is behind the seat but a old timer at my work told me that they stop doing that in 1969 so my truck may possibly be a 69 an not a 70 can any one help….. I believe it was 73 or 74. 1970 model had the tank behind the seat.
