The car has developed an annoying whine and loud tapping noise that I can only describe as loud lifters. I don’t know if this is the issue. Not in the transmission because it makes the noise while at idle and in park as well as driving. Seems to lessen in intensity as the rpms increase. This Dodge Caliber is a piece of crap.

My front left one was out and it caused a loud humming on the highway and my brake and gas pedal to vibrate some. and it was all between 60-70 on the highway… didnt matter if I was braking accelerating or whatever That sound is probably a wheel bearing starting to fail. Click to expand… I have a 2019 Ram for about 4 weeks now (1600 miles) and have this same humming/vibration as well. It “comes on” at low speed mostly and while I’m in 2 wheel drive. When I manually down shift, which brings the RPM’s up, I can get it to go away. So if I drive in Tow/Haul Mode it’s much less evident.
