In the Downfall Timeline, the Kokiri Forest was probably destroyed by Ganon. In the adult timeline, the Deku Sprout grew up and the Kokiri became Koroks. But in the Child Timeline, the Deku Tree is dead, there is no Deku Sprout, and the Kokiri have all disappeared…
Is Saria in love with Link?
Love in their Eyes Right at the very beginning of the adventure, it’s clear that Saria is very fond of Link. Some have said that since they are mere children, they would not be in love. For one thing, that assumes that “love” is defined to be some full-blown thing that only adults could experience.

So after receiving her distress call, Link rushes to the Forest Temple but Saria is nowhere to be seen. She was killed trying to fight the evil within the temple. When Link meets Darunia inside the Fire Temple, the Goron leader rushes into the boss room to try and defeat Volvagia.
