Is the tachometer on my GMC truck working?
Over last weekend, I was able to verify that the tachometer in my cluster is in fact working. I have a friend with a 1999 GMC, he came over and I put my cluster in his truck. The tachometer worked fine. Still does nothing when installed in my truck. So, my question is, what else do I need to look at?

I would take it to your local dealer and tell them that the voltage gauge sticks at times. They should order one for you, takes 1-2 days and replace it for you at no charge.

Why does my speedometer not work on my GMC Sierra 1500?
– CarGurus Speedometer doesn’t work and transmission doesn’t shift gears. The speedometer stays at 0 all the time. When the transmission is in drive it won’t come out of 1st gear. Reverse works fine, and if I manually put the transmission in 1st or 2nd it works fine.
