Is the AC warm when the truck is idling?
When the truck is driving, the AC is ice cold. However, when I am idling for a couple of minutes, the AC will start to blow warmer air. Almost as if the ac is turned off and only the blower is working. Can somebody please assist? Thanks.

You might be just a little low on refrigerant. (Low enough to intermittantly trip the “Low-pressure” switch.)

Not quite correct slot, a 2005 will blow ice cold air at idle. Trust me if 134A did not blow cold at idle there would be lots of very abgry customers. The electric fans ensure proper air flow even at a stop.

Good Luck. My car is very much an R134A A/C system, and cools to just about 40 degrees at the center vent with the car at a stand still, and the engine at 1500 RPM’s. It will get down to about 45 at idle. I would expect about the same performance from other R134A systems.

As A/C runs like a giant circle of pressure, you need to make sure all the levels are sustained at all times.
