Why is my Ford Focus ST not reliable?
MFT and the DCT (dual clutch tranny) are the two big reasons Consumer Reports has rated Focus as not being reliable, all the other parts of the car being much better than average (and the DCT is not available on the ST). Are there any issues with the Ford touch?
1) Large hood gap; It’s not that big a deal but irritating that Ford has not addressed this issue. 2) RMM (rear motor mount); Easily replaced by anyone with a few tools, though some have talked their dealership into doing the labor for free. 3) MFT (My Ford Touch); Glitches. I can live with it. I knew going in that there were issues.
