I tow a 5th wheel in the summer and have never noticed a problem with my truck charging the trailer bateries, but today when I went to wire in some backup lights to my bumper, I went to find the 12 volt constant in the trailer plug harnes and I cant find any power.

Why do I not get 12 volt power from my trailer?

Ok so I connected my 5th wheel to my truck 7 pin and then put a volt meter to my batteries in the trailer and they are definitely not getting charged from my truck, which confirms I am not getting 12 volt power other then for my lights.
