Can you use the 94 program on a 95 Impala?

Can you use the 94 program on a 95 Impala?

Just using the ’94 program SHOULD work. However the ’95 program has a few options that the ’94 doesn’t have. Ed Wright was offering to change the transmission code in the PCM for LT1 Edit users. He MAY still do this if you have LT1 Edit.

Can a 94 4L60E work on a 95?

The 94 4L60E will NOT work in the 95 cars without modification. In 95 a PWM torque converter lockup solenoid was introduced. It’s not there on the 94 trans. You will have torque converter lockup issues.

Is the PWM in the Chevy Impala 95?

In 95 a PWM torque converter lockup solenoid was introduced. It’s not there on the 94 trans. You will have torque converter lockup issues. I think, but am not 100% sure, that the PWM issue would be solved by simply taking the PCM to GM and have them flash in the “base” code for a 94 LT1 9C1 in it.

What does jsust mean on a Chevy Impala?

Jsust means that from that point forward, you’d have to remember that your car is a “94” from an electronics standpoint. This is assuming, of course, that you have the “stock” 95 PCM programming in the car now. Is that right? Yeah, I was going to add that a custom PCM might be all that’s required to fix it. I’m not sure if that’s the case however.

Is the 4L60-E transmission a teardown or rebuild?

This is a video of a 4L60-E Transmission complete disassemble and rebuild. You will recognize the first half of the teardown, the rest I had misplaced it but found it, so I put it all together as one video as I intended to do a long time ago. And yes, it’s an old video. Loading…
