Now to the problem, the forklift will start up, if its cold, but will only run for a few seconds, unless your constantly playing with the gas, then you might get a couple of minutes out of it, but once its started, its done for the day.

took off the carb. full of liquid gunk, like thin honey. cleaned it and poked a paper clip through the 4 holes on diaphragm to get the gunk out of them. Diaphragm looks to be ok. Then i replaced the distributor and rotor. Got it RunninG!!! but I cannot get it to run while pressing gas.

Is there a problem with my Clark forklift?

We’ve got this forklift at work, its a clark about 6000lbs, I think the model #is ‘officially abused and never maintained’. The cyclinders all need to be redone and the valves stick, but generally it works. All the wiring is mickey moused and the ignition and starter switch are hanging out the side.

What kind of power does a forklift have?

Forklift Starts has no power… Forklift Starts has no power and dies. Propane Fueled. Can find no problems in converter. Coil or condenser, Maybe?
