Why does my Dodge Dakota think the transmission is going?
The computer makes it seem as if the transmission is going because on these dakotas the ecm and pcm are one. Meaning that the computer controls the engine and transmission so when the computer fails it sends error codes out thinking the transmission is failing when its actually not.
