5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive but worth it! I have been wearing these almost everyday now for over 15 months. I am in construction and they hold up to anything I put them through. They cost more than an average boot, but with quality work footwear like Redwing or Keen, you really get your moneys worth.

Do Keens run true to size?
The shoes run true to size. 11 with normal socks should do. I would stick with your normal size. Most all Keen shoes I take a half size larger, but not these.
Are keen boots high quality?
Keen’s quality may be average in hiking boots and hiking shoes, but their hiking sandals are standouts. “Trail to town” wear. With good cushioning and support, Keens make great everyday shoes for work or for “trail to town” or “trail to tavern” adventures.

Comfort, quality, and durability get a lot of mentions by reviewers with many of them saying that Keen shoes last longer than other brands and that is ideal for all footwear but even more especially so if you have kids who are hard on shoes and for workboots. If you have wide feet this is definitely the brand for you!
Do keen boots come up small?
In the production year of 2008, we switched manufacturing locations and some customers who were on the edge of their size ended up needing to size up after that. This is the same time that we officially started suggesting a 1/2 size up from your normal KEEN size, but they’ve always fit a little small.
How long do keen work boots last?
Your leather and rubber-soled Keen work boot should last somewhere between 8 months and 12-16 months. If you put it through a harsh beating every day, it should hit about 8 to 12 months.
Why are Keens so comfortable?
They are incredibly lightweight but durable at the same time. It has amazing shock absorbency which keeps me comfortable while hiking or running around on rough terrain. The Keen Men’s Targhee II Hiking Shoe is also water-resistant which helps keep your feet dry!
