That bike still uses throttle cables and has a seperate cable from the cruise module/servo to the throttle body. Make sure it is still hooked up and in tact. Then check your cruise fuse. Then go the diagnostics as listed above. Turn your ignition on and see if your brake light is on without applying the brakes.
