How many hours does a 4490 case have?
Here at home we had alot of crab steer case’s running around and NONE of them ever gave trouble like those POS Deere 4×4’s. I have a 4490 with over 5500 hours on it. It has been a solid dependable tractor. As others have said it depends on the service it has had.
What kind of engine does a 4490 case have?
It will out pull my 3588 by quite a bit ( the 35 is turned up some ) and has a lot of low end torque. The 504 is a nice engine, but will smoke quite a bit under load, but it’s pretty easy on fuel. I’m not saying all these tractors a great, but it works for me with what we do with it. Their a little ugly but get the job done.
