Run it around to heat the engine up and shift thru all gears incl Reverse. Then turn off all accessories/lights, etc. Make sure A/C is off and transmission is in Park (automatic) or in Neutral for a Manual & release clutch. Do Key On Engine Off (KOEO) portion first.

What’s the problem with my Chevy Speedo shifting?
Could have corroded comp or possible break or short in a wire so look everything over, try using electrical connector cleaner, let dry out then plug everything back up. Also try unhooking the battery for a bit then give everything a shot again. Just the plug on the driver side front ABS wheel sensor.
