What happened to Heathrow Connect?
Replacement by TfL Rail On 20 May 2018, TfL Rail took over the services operated by Heathrow Connect as a precursor to the full opening of the Elizabeth line.
Does Heathrow Connect still run?
Until May 2018, the TFL Train was called Heathrow Connect and was part of the national railways. With TFL Rail taking over the service it is now regulated by the same people who run London’s Underground and buses.

Can I use my Oyster card on Heathrow Connect?
Transport for London has announced that Oyster Pay-as-you-go and Contactless credit/debit cards will be accepted on the Heathrow Connect service, when TfL Rail takes over responsibility the service from Sunday 20th May.
