Our local council won’t accept a vehicle as having been abandoned unless it’s been in the same place for at least 3 weeks. It must be a very quiet road with few visitors if there is an unwritten rule like that. If someone is parked in front of my house, I park in front of someone else’s, which means they have to park elsewhere and so on.
