Don’t worry about the 2.5 motors. They are fine engines that will give you years of trouble free driving We bought our 14 S model in July of 2013. Not one single problem to date. Yes, it’s been in a couple of times for recalls, but no driveability problems at all. The 2.5L engine is just fine.
