it is normal. It’s normal for it to burn some oil but minimal smoke is emitted these days by running a 50:1 ratio fuel to oil mixture, it used to be mixed at a 25:1 mixture so more blue smoke was emitted. If the exhaust pipe is oily,too much oil has been added to the fuel & that’s not normal !
