Reply to Steve’s Post: the only lights that are inlluminated are the three in the original message. i replaced the throttle body assembly right before the truck died. it started before the replacement but when i went to start it after there was nothing. i disconnected the battery during the exchange. HELLO! Glad to have you back online.

Billr is right, if it starts after rapping the tank, it is a worn fuel pump. How many miles on that truck? Mine had 158K. You can bypass the f/p relay very easily with a jumper wire after pulling the relay out.That applies 12 directly to the pump. If you don’t hear it, then it’s the pump or the wiring to it.
