Why does my Ford ESOF light not work?
Ford dealer cannot tell me what to do about it. They cannot fix it. Paid them $1256 for all the new parts and it still does not work. I keep having to use a wrench to lock in my 4wd!!!

So what is that 4 wheel drive indicator blinking on your dashboard means? The purpose of the 4 wheel drive light is to indicate when you have engaged 4WD mode by selecting 4H. When the light flashes continuously for more than 30 seconds it signifies there is a problem somewhere on your drivetrain system and that 4WD has not engaged properly.

2002 f250: 4wd..Switch is good, fuses are good, no indicator lights… 4wd drive on 2002 f250… 4wd drive on 2002 f250 with 7.3 with ESOF will not work. Switch is good, fuses are good, no indicator lights on dash. There is no power to the actuator motor when switched to 4wd high or low.
