Why are the fans not running in my F150?
When climate control is on but not the AC i get no fans running. When i turn AC on i can hear the compressor/clutch start and rpms dip then fans turn on high right away. -Engine coolant was topped off last night and problem still exists. Hey bud, I’m an old Ford mechanic.

Fixed it. I have been researching this issue for two years.

The mkiv fans have two speeds…. low and high. Both fans always work in tandem. The resistor pack inside the fans will burn out and the fans will stop working on low speed but will still work on high speed when the engine gets too warm.

Why is the radiator fan running high on my 2013 F150?

The first thing that my mind went to was resistance, in that there’s a bad ground. Sounds like your dealer has thrown one too many head units and resistors at it; time to start hunting for the wiring issue between the controller and blower motor. I do notice however that my fan speed dial is a little slow to respond..
