Don’t rely on the crankshaft locking pin to hold the crank while you undo or tighten the front pulley hub bolt, as it is likely to snap or bend. When the sump is off, you can see to get 1&4 and 2&3 level in mid stroke, and then insert the timing pin in the hole that is more or less lined up.
