I am having the same problem with my 2010 Chevy Traverse.This car has had problems since day one. But recently the Service Stabilitrak /Service traction control comes on. Brought it to my mechanic after the light went off and no trouble found. it goes off and on everyday.

So my fabulous Traverse decided to have MORE electrical glitches, now it has taken to randomly showing Service Stabilitrak/Service Traction Control. A quick search turned up similar problems involving wheel sensors which also showed the ABS warning lamp, but I’m not seeing any ABS faults.

Why is the odometer not working on my traverse?
Alternator and battery check out. The odometer display may just be bad luck; somebody else here has the same problem. The mirror switch was badly corroded, like maybe the door or window were left open and rain got into it, so that could be attributed to the previous owner.
