How do you fix a bounce back window?
Bounce-Back The window automatically stops and reverses if it detects an obstruction. To override the bounce back feature: Close the window until it reaches the point of resistance and let it reverse.
Where does the driver’s window go up and back down?
Driver’s window goes into “pinch protect” intermittantly. I hit the button for auto-up, it goes up to near the top and back down again. I tried re-calibrating it with the procedure in the manual. (use key in doorlock to fully open then fully close the windows). But it doesn’t seem to be helping.
What’s the problem with the driver’s side power window?
Messed with the driver side motor prying a screw driver against metal on door and both windows quit working…. was able to send both windows up by putting 12v to the motors but no more clicking….. I’m completely stumped Last edited by mackenziet; 08-14-2013 at 10:10 AM.
Why does my window go up and then come back down?
As you probably know the doorlocks, windows, sunroof and powerlocking are all linked. The passenger side window started doing the same thing today. It’s random, intermittant and I can’t make it happen. But it happens. Either do an auto-up or hold the switch up and about 1 out of 15 times, the window goes into pinch-protect and comes back down.
When does the front window runner go up?
It usually occurs in warm/hot and humid weather. 13,000 miles and the car and all windows are spotless and clean and always kept that way. Just like acthungtdi says, it goes up almost to the top then back down. Spray the front window runner channel with WD-40 and forget about it. Boston, MA.
What to do when power window auto up bounce back?
The menu option I though I saw in the menu won’t reset the drivers side window position. Was related to the remote window operation. 1) Take a 10mm socket and remove the negative cable from the battery. 2) Take your favorite cold drink and open it, and enjoy. This is also a good time to have a smoke if your the smoking kind. Wait about 10 minutes.
