Why is my Bobcat 763 not lifting snow?
I have am using a Bobcat 763 to move snow. We used it all day yesterday and not problem and today it will not lift. It moves forward just no lifting of the bucket. What could be the problem? This is a loner and I am not real familiar with its internal parts. If you could explain where to look for the problem I can navigate around the machine.
Where is the BIC unlock button on a bobcat?
Not sure if your model has an BIC unlock button (green button). Thanks. That gives me a place to start looking. There is a box behind the left shoulder of the seat with green light indications. If so, you can just splice it back together for now. Can buy at the hardware store a little splice tube – put both ends of the broken wire in (strip back some of the insulation) and crimp it tight. Put a little electrical tape around it too.

What’s the biggest problem with a bobcat 963?
He has S300’s now and says the 963’s pushed more but the S300’s are much better on fuel and stack higher. He has 10′ plows on them. You could put a 12′ pusher on it but would probably be better off with a 10’er. The biggest problem with a skid is the short wheelbase can cause traction issues.
