No disrespect but chances are this guy does not own an Acert! They are made to be lugged, all the way down to 1100 rpm. It’s not the same as an “E” or the first C15’s (6nz) there is absolutely no power above 1500 and running one there will do nothing but burn fuel.

Problem now is, no matter what filter i put on there, it is too restrictive, and so it is aerating the fuel and creating a vacuum on the engine (exit) side of the filter base. This is all theory, mind you, based on my own work. If this isn’t it, then I must have some restriction elswhere on the pressure side.

The check engine light came on and the engine sounded like the jake brakes were engaged. Anyway i took it to a shop and they found that the exhaust manifold gasket was blown and a flex pipe was too. They fixed that and ran an overhead on it while it was apart.
