Can bad front struts cause vibration?
No. Worn out shocks/struts will not cause a vibration, they will cause the car to “float” because they are no longer damping the low-frequency oscillations of the coil springs. The entire car will be more “bouncy”, but they will not cause a vibration in the steering. Tires, tire pressure, and wheel allignment.

What causes cyclic vibration on a FWD drive?
On some FWD driveshafts, a “vibration damper” weight is used to control torsional vibrations. If the weight has been removed or lost, it may cause cyclic vibrations to occur at certain speeds. Worn U-joints on RWD driveshafts can cause vibrations at any speed as can an incorrectly installed U-joint.
