Started having problems with tailgate – it’s not opening (can hear the motor working, hatch releases and then shuts/locks again). Was sporadic, now it’s not opening at all and I have to use the inside lever to manually open it. Someone suggested cleaning the door jam and lubricate the hinges/all areas. That worked for a few days.

With the key or door button it unlatched, waited a moment then relatched closed. it was intermittent.I gather some switch to activate the lift hydraulics was faulty. seems to work now. no charge warranty repair after i bitched about a latch adjustment they wanted to charge for.
