I have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. The dash vents are the only vents that work. It blows hot air so I don’t think there is anything wrong with they heating system. There is just no air from floor vents or defroster.

Also, there is no light coming on when the AC button and/or the recirculating buttons are pushed. All fuses look good. When the AC button is pushed, it doesn’t appear to engage the compressor. What could be happening? Can’t drive around without defrost. Too dangerous. Thanks!

Why does AC stop blowing out the defrost vents?
After installing a new blower fan motor the ac would only come out the defrost vents. The factory vacuum check valve is very hard to get to. So i bypassed it. Now it is working like it should and ac comes out the dash vents. I do not have a vacuum reservoir installed i will have to see if i will need to add it later.
