OK I HAVE AN S13 240 , AND MY DASH AND TAIL LGHTS ARE NOT WORKING.THE BREAK LIGHTS SEEM TO BE WORKING, BUT NOT THE DAH OR TAIL LIGHTS. ALSO , A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO MY CD DECK JUST DOESNT TURN ON. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM CAN BE? NEED SOME ADVICE check the main fuse. Had a similar problem. Do your pwr locks/windows work?

Why are my head and tail lights not working?
THE ONES ON THE SIDE FENDERS THAT BLINK WHEN YOUR TURN SIGNAL IS ON. IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING COVERING YOUR TIRE WELDS THEN DISCONNECT YOUR CORNER LIGHTS AND PUT A NEW FUSE IN AND SEE IF YOUR LIGHTS COME ON. I have a 95 nissan pathfinder my head lights and tail lights stay on. I have no brake lights and no dash board lights.

Flip the switch or turn the dial or knob up and see if the lights on your dash come on or get brighter. If adjusting the switch doesn’t work, you may have a blown fuse or bad lightbulb. Or, the entire switch may be faulty, in which case, have it replaced by a certified mechanic.

Tail lights and dash lights are connected through the fuse. Sounds like your fuse is blown. This is a standard thing in all cars (at least before Auto Light controls) When the dash goes dark you know you are driving without tail lights.

I pulled over checked the fuses and again the Tail light fuse was out Put a new one in nothing. Now my taillights don’t work but Brake lights, Turn signals are good. The license plate light is out as well along with both front and rear marker lights).
