Can you remove oil pan off 4500 Ram?

Has anyone around here had to remove an oil pan off 4500 or 5500 Ram? I know 3500 involves engine lifting to clear the cross member, although cross member on chassis is much larger, will it clear or i actually need to have tranny removed?
