Discussion in ‘ Tech Info ‘ started by beavermosh, Jan 5, 2014 . So the backlight for my 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn occasionally and randomly flickers when the back light is dimmed to approximately 25% or lower. It occurs say 1% of the time I drive the truck.

Bad BCM…BODY CONTROL MODULE. I just had the truck back from the dealer for another issue relating to warning light coming on the dash. i wonder if the two issues are related or if the dealer messed something up… Bad BCM…BODY CONTROL MODULE.
Why are the instrument cluster lights not turning off?
The instrument cluster lights wont turn off after the truck is turned off and doors locked. It will stay on all night draining the batteries. i tried disconnecting the batteries and when i reconnect the batteries the problem persists.

Why are the lights on my AM 15 larimie flickering?
Started flickering this am 15 larimie with 19k. Read it as being a problem back back in 13. If you turn them up flicker goes away. My dealership always needs a apointment just to look at truck.
Why does my backlight keep flickering on and off?
The dealer actually agreed but he said that’s what the engineers said to do… that’s like replacing the entire printer when you’re out of ink. I would bet that this problem is caused by the input voltage to the LED driver fluctuating due to acceleration/deceleration; that is when the problem occurs.
