I’m replacing the pump as it’s still growling even though the filter is clean and the ATF+4 is new. I measured the fittings on the new hose. The pump end is 16mm and the rack end is 18mm. I have metric flare nut wrenches but not that size. I think I remember that one of you guys used a crowfoot wrench on one or both of the fittings.

When I replaced the high pressure line on my 2001 I used a standard 16mm wrench from below for the power steering pump connection. For the connection at the rack I bought a 18mm wrench and cut it off as shown below.
