Why is there no Comm on my scan tool?

Why is there no Comm on my scan tool?

Could the magnetic interference of all the wires being bundled together cause the lack of communication to the scan tool?? I know that there are 2 pins on the DLC that can be tested for resistance to see how far the lack of comm goes. can anyone tell me what pins and how much resistance there should be?

You can do the crank relearn without a techII scanner… I’ve seen it done and thought about doing it myself. It is much simpler then the process you describe and it is no different then when you do it WITH the scanner….. Doing it with the scanner guarantees you A) do it right and B) have it done. how was it done?

How to set the trigger on MODIS MODIS-aeswave?

Make sure you set trigger source on the channel you are using. Set the trigger level at 100 mV. Set the trigger position one division over from the left. Set to trigger on the rising slope. Scope Hook-up: Clamp the amp probe around the positiv module. If the pattern is upside down reverse the probe & re-clamp.
