Why is the AC button not turning on?
Hello, the AC button no longer lights up when I press it, however I do hear the compressor turn on but because the AC light isnt lighting on it will not allow the AC to actually start to cool. I checked all of the fuses both in the car and under the hood and they are fine. What can it be? Thanks helpful?

No power, then it could be a wiring issue (assuming you physically seen and tested all of the fuses are good). If you are possibly still under manufacturers warranty, then I would take it straight to the dealer.

My a/c control panel has no power when turning on the a/c switch or the recirculation switch. This problem began as an intermittent problem, but now is a solid no power problem. The blower switch works. I have checked the fuses and all are ok. Is there a relay that controls power to the switch panel? Thanks.

Without knowing A/C system pressure this is a guess as to whether the switch is good or bad. As an alternative you can bypass the switch temporarily. The A/C pressure switch receives a signal from the Heater Control Panel (Connector A pin 4 @ heater control panel).

So,if you clean this area vary well with,something like spray contact cleaner, after it has been vacuum pumped, dyed ( DO NOT OVER DYE OR OVER OIL) and recharged to the proper point. Clean the caps the same way,put them on and forget it for a few weeks.
